Kenneth F. Weirich, Sr.
January 19, 1938 - August 09, 2009
Savannah, GA - Kenneth F. Weirich Sr., Sergeant First Class U.S. Army retired, a loving husband survived by his loving wife Ann of 50 years. A great father survived by his four children Kenneth F. Weirich Jr. Vicky, Dawn Wise, Leigh Sides Joe, David Weirich. A wonderful grandfather survived by seven grandchildren and two great-grandchildren. His sister and nieces and nephews reside in Houston. He proudly served our country for 23 years including wartime Vietnam Conflict. He was a selfless volunteer for the Boy Scouts for 13 years; a tireless volunteer for the Savannah Parkinson's Group. He left a legacy of love, generosity and kindness that will never be forgotten.
Funeral: 11:00 a.m., Thursday, August 13, 2009 at Fox and Weeks Funeral Directors, Hodgson Chapel.
Burial: Greenwich Section of Bonaventure Cemetery with full military honors.

I was so saddened when I received Ashley's message that her grandpa had met Jesus. Then I pictured our Lord and Savior with his arms opened wide receiving her grandpa with grace and love. God Bless and be with you all. You all are in my heart, thoughts and prayers. love ya ,

We are so glad that Uncle Kenneth is at peace now. He has gone to be with the Lord no better place to be he now can meet his mother. You are all in our thoughts and prayers. We are sorry that we can't be there for you. Momma just isn't able to but we love you all and please know that we all loved your Dad very much. Especially his big sister who he always called 'Sis'.
